Welcome to Orderly Perfection, the approved TAFL fanlisting for Saga Bergmann from Chiccha na Yukitsukai Sugar (Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar).
Saga Bergmann is an 11-year-old girl who's very mature for age. I think she became that way since her mother died when she was little and that caused her to become an independent person who's quite organized person and tends to get too serious at times. She loves to play the piano, like her late mother did (who was a famous pianist) and she sometimes plays her mother's old piano in a music shop and even though she knows that she can't ever afford to buy it, she's still attached to it. She soon finds out that she can see Season Fairies and then meets Sugar, a hyper, energetic fairy and with her and the other Season Fairies teach Saga to enjoy her children more and to act more like a kid than a adult. Of course, they do mess up her perfectly and planned life as soon they meet her. |
Season Fairies are the ones who control the weather with magical instruments. Sugar and her friends, Salt and Pepper are fairies in training to become full fledged Season Fairies. The only for them to become full fledged Season Fairies is to make these magical flowers bloom, but they'll have to find "Twinkles" (or "Glitter" in the fansubs) to do so. The only problem is that they have no clue where the "Twinkles" are. They know that they "Twinkles" are found on Earth, but don't where on Earth they're located. They meet Saga, who can see the Season Fairies to help them and even though she's annoyed by helping them since they've disturbed her ordered life. Dispite that, they're working together to find the "Twinkles" so Sugar and her friends can improve their magic and become full fledge Season Fairies. |
The series was done by the mangaka Haruka Aoi with the character designs by Koge Donbo. The manga consists of three volumes and was published in Japan by Broccoli Books. The anime consisted of 24 episode and was done by J.C. Staff and aired from October 2, 2001 to March 26, 2002 in Japan. Both the anime and manga are licenced in the U.S. - The manga was licenced by ADV Manga and the anime series was licenced by Pioneer (now known as Geneon Entertainment). |
