A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country.

Why this rivalry?

The obvious reason would be because they both play the violin and are both particpants in the concours. The more subtle reason would be their clashing personalities. Len's reserved and cold deamenor vs. Kahoko's outgoing and friendly personality.

Who's better?

Well, when it comes to the violin, in general, Len is the obvious choice as has a lot more experience with playing the violin than Kahoko does. Of course... Len knows that Kahoko, even with her lack of music experience, has something that he doesn't have. Her music sounds so much different than his, in that it seems to be able to flow so much more freely and with more emotion than Len's able to. She reminds him of his parents in a way since they're able to do the same thing.

Len may not realize it, but because of Kahoko, he's changed (just a tad personality-wise, as he's nicer to her) and his music sounds different. Kahoko has impacted all the participants and probably the rest of the school as well, but personally, I think she's impacted Len the most, even if he doesn't realize it. On the flip side, Len doesn't know that Kahoko really can't play the violin at all (and I think he may suspect it) if it isn't with the magic violin Lili gave her. If he or anyone else found out the truth, there's no telling what could happen in that senario.

Overall, I really DO have a hard time deciding who's better in the overall sense. I hate to admit it, but I pretty much chose Len since he's virtually my favorite character (yes. I'm being bias and I know it~ XD;), besides Kazuki and Keiichi.
